These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of KEWD.ai ("KEWD", "we", "us", or "our"), including our macOS application and website. By downloading, installing, or using KEWD, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
KEWD grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the application for your personal or internal business purposes. You agree not to:
During the private beta, access to KEWD is by invitation only. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@kewd.ai if you believe your account has been compromised.
If you connect your Google account, you authorize KEWD to access your Google Calendar (read-only) and any Google Drive files you explicitly select via the Google Picker. Your use of Google services through KEWD is also subject to Google's Terms of Service. We do not access, store, or share your Google data beyond what is described in our Privacy Policy.
KEWD and all related technology, content, and trademarks are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property except for the limited license described in Section 1.
You retain ownership of any content you provide to KEWD (such as documents you select or meeting context you configure). By using the service, you grant us a limited license to process that content solely to provide the features you requested.
Your use of KEWD is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review it to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.
KEWD is currently in private beta. The service is provided "as is" and may contain bugs, errors, or incomplete features. We make no guarantees about uptime, accuracy, or fitness for any particular purpose during the beta period. Features may change or be removed without notice.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KEWD IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KEWD AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED $100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE THREE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
We may suspend or terminate your access to KEWD at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. You may stop using the service at any time by uninstalling the application. Upon termination, your license to use KEWD ends immediately. Sections 4, 7, 8, and 10 survive termination.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the effective date above and, where appropriate, by email. Continued use of KEWD after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
